How to Check Out a Reservation when that client has an Outstanding Balance

  • First you must create an Accounts Receivable for the Client (Please see How to Create an Accounts Receivable for a Client)
  • In the Client's Reservation, the Charges/Payments tab, pay off the balance by selecting Payment Type: A/R Transfer
  • Now you can check out the reservation.
  • Go to the Acct button on the Primary Client name under Rez Details and select ‘Go to Account Manager’
  • There you will see a balance of the outstanding reservation. Once the client presents the payment, click ‘Payment’ and the payment type along with the balance.
